For this trip to the other side of the world, we used Gate 1 Travel. This gave us the best prices on flights and stays as they buy in bulk for an entire group. This works out great for the most part, as excursions are cheaper as well since many of the group purchase them. The only time this doesn’t work out is when a specific excursion doesn’t have the popularity and not enough choose it, and this caused us to schedule our own for a couple, which isn’t a big deal.

With this in mind, we didn’t always spend our time or outings with the Gate 1 group as a whole, and therefore didn’t get some of the same pictures as they did. Fortunately, someone decided to create a WhatsApp group thread, and many other photos were shared there for all to enjoy. I wanted to post these as well but also give background so as not to take credit for the shots.

Some of these photos include the whale-watching excursion off the coast of Sydney. We chose to instead spend the day in the city exploring. Also, there are more shots of the Sydney Harbour Bridge at day and night, a sea turtle from a glass-bottom boat, a crocodile show, and scuba with a shark in the background.

There was so much to explore in Australia. It wasn’t enough time there to cover it all, but these photos along with ours give a great taste of what is there. Definitely a great trip and well worth the investment to explore and experience that part of the world.
